Bagels | From the Airfryer

Delicious Bagels in an Instant
Servings: 2 pieces

Ingredients

  • 125 g self-raising flour
  • 100 g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Preparation method

  1. Mix and knead
    Place the self-raising flour, Greek yoghurt and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Knead the ingredients with your hands until you have a smooth dough. The dough should feel slightly sticky, but not stick to your hands. Is it too sticky? Add a little extra flour.

  2. Shape the bagels
    Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll each part into a long rope and shape it into a circle. Press the ends together well so that they remain firm.

  3. Prepare for the oven
    Line the basket of your airfryer with a sheet of baking paper. Place the bagels on top. Brush them lightly with some water using a brush and sprinkle the sesame seeds generously over the top.

  4. Let's bake!
    Bake the bagels in the airfryer at 160°C for 18 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Tip: Enjoy these airy bagels for breakfast or lunch, with your favorite toppings! They are at their best warm from the airfryer.
