Why you don’t want to miss these banana pancakes: With just a handful of ingredients, you can create a delicious treat in minutes. The combination of ripe banana, nutritious oat flour, and a touch of cinnamon makes for a perfectly sweet and fluffy pancake, while the Airfryer makes it easy without the hassle of pans or spatulas. Plus, they’re gluten and lactose free, so they’re perfectly adaptable to your diet!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana – for natural sweetness
  • 2 eggs – for a light and protein-rich batter
  • 1 tablespoon oat flour (or finely ground oatmeal) – a nutritious alternative to wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder – for extra fluffiness
  • Cinnamon (to taste) – for a warm, spicy flavor
  • Salt (a pinch) – to balance the flavors

What do you need:

  • Airfryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork
  • Spatula
  • Small baking tin or oven dish (suitable for the Airfryer)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the batter: Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl with a fork until smooth. Add the eggs and beat well. Then add the oatmeal, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt and mix until smooth.

  2. Preheat the Airfryer: Set the Airfryer to 180 degrees Celsius and let it preheat.

  3. Bake the pancake: Line a small baking pan or oven dish (that fits in your Airfryer) with baking paper or grease it lightly with a little oil. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.

  4. Bake until golden brown: Place the baking pan in the basket of the Airfryer and bake the banana pancake for 8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. If necessary, check with a fork whether it is firm and cooked through.

  5. Serving: Carefully remove the pancake from the pan and let it cool for a few minutes. Cut into nice pieces and serve immediately while it is still warm. Add some fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey or a little maple syrup for extra flavor and enjoy!
