Mini Chicken Sausage Rolls from the Airfryer 🥐🍗
Meet these delicious mini chicken sausage rolls that are perfectly crispy and tasty, prepared in the airfryer! Ingredients (for 4 persons):
- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry
- 300 g minced chicken
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tsp sambal badjak
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation method:
1. Preparation:
Preheat the airfryer to 180°C. Line the basket with baking paper so that the sausage rolls do not stick.
2. Making the filling:
Mix the minced chicken with the paprika powder, ketjap, sambal, garlic, onion and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Knead it well so that the flavors mix well.
3. Shaping the buns:
Lay out the puff pastry and divide the minced meat mixture in a long strip along the length of the pastry. Roll up the puff pastry tightly and cut off the excess pastry. Press the edge firmly to prevent the rolls from opening during baking.
4. Cutting and finishing:
Cut the roll into small pieces and place the mini sausage rolls in the basket of the airfryer. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an extra crunch.
5. Baking:
Bake the chicken sausage rolls in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 180°C until golden brown and crispy.
