The Philly Cheese Steak is an American classic, which we transform into a tasty Airfryer sandwich! This hearty sandwich, inspired by the original version from Philadelphia, is generously topped with roast beef, melted cheese, green pepper and onion. Perfect for a hearty lunch!

Ingredients
- 2 slices of artisan bread
- 100 grams of roast beef or thin steak strips
- 2 slices of young cheese
- Half an onion
- Half a green pepper
- Salt and pepper
Preparation method
- Cut the onion into thin half rings and the pepper into thin strips.
- Briefly fry the onion and pepper in a frying pan with a little oil.
- Top a slice of bread with cheese, place the roast beef on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add the fried onion and pepper, fold the sandwich closed, and brush the outsides with butter.
- Bake the sandwich for 7 minutes at 190°C in the preheated air fryer until crispy and golden brown.
TIP: Delicious with a little barbecue sauce!
