ππ₯π³ Poached Eggs with Bacon on Toast from the Airfryer! A delicious breakfast or brunch dish that is easy to make and always a success! ππ₯
π Ingredients (for 2 persons):
- 2 slices of bread (e.g. sourdough or whole wheat)
- 2 eggs
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 tbsp vinegar (for poaching)
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for the toast)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh chives or parsley for garnish
π₯ Preparation method:
1οΈβ£ Fry the bacon: Place the bacon in the airfryer and fry at 180Β°C for 6-8 minutes , until nice and crispy. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
2οΈβ£ Toast bread: Place the slices of bread in the airfryer and bake them at 180Β°C for 3-4 minutes (or brush with butter for extra crunch!).
3οΈβ£ Poach eggs: Bring water and vinegar to a boil. Crack an egg into a small bowl and carefully slide it into the water. Poach for 3-4 minutes and remove with a slotted spoon.
4οΈβ£ Build your toast: Top the crispy bacon with the toast, place the poached egg on top and sprinkle with salt, pepper and fresh herbs.
