Fluffy Airfryer Sausage Bites: Perfect for any occasion! 🌟🍴

These juicy and tasty sausage bites are a hit with young and old! Perfect as a side dish, breakfast companion or party snack. Whether you serve them warm with dips or cold on a buffet, they remain an absolute crowd pleaser. Thanks to the airfryer, they are quick, easy and healthier to prepare.

Ingredients (for 8 servings):
- 450 g sausage meat
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Preparation method

1. Prepare the minced meat mixture
- Place the sausage meat in a large bowl. Add the finely chopped red onion, minced garlic and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.

2. Add the binders
- Beat the eggs and add them to the minced meat mixture together with the breadcrumbs. Mix well until everything is completely incorporated.

3. Shape the sausage bites
- Use a spoon or your hands to scoop small portions of the mixture and roll them into small, round balls.

Tip: If you have a skewer attachment for your air fryer, you can prepare multiple balls at once and use more space!

4. Place in the air fryer
- Line the airfryer with baking paper or a silicone mat. Place the sausage bites in with enough space between the balls, so that the air can circulate well.

5. Baking to perfection
- Set the airfryer to 200°C (392°F) and bake the bites for 18 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Check regularly and adjust the baking time if necessary, depending on your airfryer.

6. Serve and enjoy
- Serve the sausage bites warm or cold with your favorite dipping sauces, such as mustard, BBQ sauce or aioli. They are also delicious as part of a main course or with a salad.
