Spiced Fries | From the Airfryer

Crispy Spicy Fries with Garlic Dip from the Airfryer 🍟

Be surprised by the perfect combination of crispy, spicy fries and a creamy garlic dip. Quick, easy and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

For the fries:

  • 750 g large, floury potatoes
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of pepper

For the garlic dip:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 50 ml yoghurt (for example Arla® Skyr)
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped

Preparation method

  1. Prepare the potatoes:

    • Wash the potatoes and cut them into large fries.
    • Place the fries in a bowl, add water until they are covered and let them soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Herbs and baking:

    • Drain the fries and pat them dry with a tea towel.
    • In a large bowl, mix the fries with the oil and all the herbs and spices.
    • Preheat the Airfryer to 180℃. Bake the fries for 20 minutes until crispy, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
  3. Make the garlic dip:

    • Mix the mayonnaise, yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill and chives well in a bowl.
  4. Serve:

    • Serve the spicy fries warm with the fresh garlic dip and enjoy!
