Roasted Potato Slices with Thyme and Butter
Servings: 2 people

Ingredients

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 35 g butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation method

  1. Prepare
    Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin, even slices using a mandolin. Pat them dry with kitchen paper and place them in a bowl.

  2. Melting and seasoning
    Melt the butter and pour it over the potato slices. Chop the fresh thyme coarsely and add it together with a good pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything well so that the potatoes are nicely covered with the herb butter.

  3. Arranging and baking
    Place the potato slices upright in an oven dish, making sure they are not too close together so that they can cook properly.

    • In the oven: Preheat the oven to 190°C and bake the dish for 60 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
    • In the airfryer: Bake the potato slices for 40 minutes at 170°C for a quick and crispy result.
