- 1 rib-eye steak (about 400 g)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 30 g butter

How to make the perfect rib-eye steak in the air fryer

Step 1: Prepare the steak
Remove the steak from the refrigerator and pat it dry with kitchen paper. Place the steak on a plate and let it come to room temperature.

Step 2: Make the tasty butter sauce
Melt the butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the dried rosemary and garlic powder and stir well. In the meantime, preheat the airfryer to 200°C.

Step 3: Season the steak
Sprinkle both sides of the steak generously with sea salt and black pepper. Place the steak on a sheet of aluminum foil and pour the melted butter sauce over it. Wrap the steak carefully in the foil so that the flavors are well absorbed during cooking.

Step 4: Bake the steak in the air fryer
Place the wrapped steak in the preheated airfryer and bake for 7 minutes at 200°C. After 7 minutes, open the foil, turn the steak over, and leave the foil open while you bake the steak for another 6-8 minutes. Choose the baking time based on your preference for doneness (for example medium-rare or well-done).

Step 5: Let the steak rest and serve
Remove steak from airfryer and let rest for 3-5 minutes, so juices are evenly distributed. Serve with your favorite side dish, such as fluffy mashed potatoes or crispy airfryer vegetables.
