Scampi in the Airfryer: Crispy, Juicy and Super Fast 🍤

Do you like scampi, but don't feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen? Then this is the perfect recipe for you! With the airfryer you can make crispy, juicy scampi in less than 10 minutes, which you can serve as a snack or as a topping for a delicious pasta. Easy, fast and full of flavor!

Ingredients (for 2-3 persons):
- 400 g scampi (peeled and deveined)
- 3 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Provencal herbs or Italian herb mix
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

Preparation method:

1. Prepare:
Preheat the airfryer to 200°C. Clean the scampi by removing the intestinal tract and peeling them. Pat them dry with kitchen paper.

2. Herbs:
Mix the olive oil with the salt, herbs of Provence, garlic powder, paprika powder and black pepper. Stir well and brush the herb mixture over the scampi on both sides.

3. Baking:
Place the scampi in the basket of the airfryer. Make sure they do not overlap, so they can cook evenly. Bake the scampi for 8 minutes at 200°C. You do not have to turn them!

4. Frozen scampi:
Are you using frozen scampi? No problem! Add 5 minutes extra baking time, depending on the size of the scampi and your airfryer. Because they don't need to be peeled, they'll still be on the table quickly.

Serving ideas:
- Appetizer: Serve the scampi with a fresh dip such as aioli or a herb-yogurt sauce.
- Pasta: Add the scampi to your favorite creamy pasta for an extra flavor boost.
