Airfryer Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients:
- 150 grams of dark chocolate
- 100 grams of butter
- 200 grams of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams of flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- Optional: 100 grams walnuts or pecans (chopped)
Supplies:
- Airfryer (preferably 3-4 liters)
- Baking tin that fits in your air fryer (for example a round or square)
- Mixing bowl
- Spatula or whisk
Preparation:
-
Melt the chocolate and butter:
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it together with the butter. This can be done in the microwave (30 seconds at a time, stirring in between) or au bain-marie. -
Beat the eggs and sugar:
Beat the eggs and sugar together in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). -
Mix the dry ingredients:
In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. -
Add melted chocolate and vanilla:
Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture and the vanilla extract to the egg-sugar mixture and mix everything well. -
Add the dry ingredients:
Gradually add the flour and baking powder mixture to the wet mixture and stir until well combined. If using walnuts or pecans, add them now. -
Prepare the baking pan:
Grease your baking pan (or line it with baking paper). Pour the brownie batter into the pan and smooth the top. -
Preheat the Airfryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 160°C for 5 minutes. -
Bake the brownies:
Place the baking pan in the airfryer and bake the brownies at 160°C for 18-22 minutes, depending on the size of your baking pan and airfryer. Check after 18 minutes if they are done by sticking a toothpick in the middle; if it comes out clean, the brownies are done. -
Let the brownies cool:
Remove the baking pan from the airfryer and let the brownies cool in the baking pan for at least 10 minutes. Then cut them into pieces.
Tip:
For an extra moist brownie, you can reduce the baking time a little so that the center remains nice and fudgy.
Enjoy your meal!
