Chocolate cake | From the Airfryer

Airfryer Chocolate Cake 🍫

This delicious, moist chocolate cake is the perfect treat for any chocolate lover. Easy to make in the airfryer and ready in less than 30 minutes. Ideal as a dessert or with a cup of coffee!

Ingredients:

  • 150 g flour (sifted)
  • 50 g cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Preparation method:

  1. Prepare the batter:
    Beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract and mix well.

  2. Combine the dry ingredients:
    Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Add this little by little to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.

  3. Preparing for the airfryer:
    Grease an airfryer-compatible cake tin and pour the batter into it. Smooth the top.

  4. Baking in the air fryer:
    Preheat the airfryer to 160°C. Place the cake tin in the airfryer and bake the cake for 18-20 minutes. Check with a skewer: if it comes out clean, the cake is done.

  5. Cooling and serving:
    Let the chocolate cake cool completely in the pan before removing it. Slice and serve.

Tips:

  • Extra tasty: Serve the cake warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
  • Variation: Add pieces of dark chocolate, chopped nuts or raspberries to the batter for a surprising twist.
