Enjoy this irresistibly moist chocolate cake, perfect for every chocolate lover. This light, full cake with an intense chocolate flavour melts on your tongue and is surprisingly easy to make in the airfryer. Ideal for a party, a dessert or just a moment of indulgence!
Ingredients:
- 325 g dark chocolate (85%)
- 250 g butter
- 160 g granulated sugar
- 5 free-range eggs (M)
- 0.375 g salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 80 g wheat flour
- 5 tsp cocoa powder (for garnish)
Preparation method:
- Melt the chocolate: Put the dark chocolate together with the butter in a heatproof bowl and melt it au-bain-marie. Stir well until smooth.
- Beat the base: In a separate bowl, beat together the sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine: Add the warm chocolate mixture to the sugar-egg mixture and stir well. Then gently fold the flour into the batter until fully combined.
- Prepare the airfryer: Grease a cake tin with a little butter and pour the batter into it.
- Baking: Place the pan in the airfryer and bake the cake for 40 minutes at 160°C. Note: the baking time may vary per airfryer. The cake may still seem slightly moist in the middle; it will stiffen as it cools.
- Let cool: Let the cake cool completely before serving. Sprinkle lightly with cocoa powder just before serving for an extra chocolatey touch.
Tip: Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or fresh red fruit for a luxurious touch. Perfect for chocoholics and easy to make in your airfryer! 😍
