Cupcakes | From the Airfryer

Airfryer Cupcakes 🧁

Make delicious, fluffy cupcakes with a soft vanilla flavor in no time. These cupcakes are perfect for any occasion and easy to prepare in the airfryer. Add your own twist with frosting, icing or a handful of chocolate chips for an extra treat!

Ingredients:

  • 125 g flour (sifted)
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • pinch of salt

Preparation method:

  1. Make the batter:
    In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy with a mixer. Add the eggs one by one and mix well. Then add the vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix everything until a smooth batter without lumps.

  2. Fill the molds:
    Divide the batter evenly over the cupcake cases. Fill the cases to about 2/3, so they can rise nicely.

  3. Preheating:
    Preheat the air fryer to 160°C.

  4. Baking:
    Place the cupcake cases in the basket of the airfryer. Bake the cupcakes for 12-15 minutes. Check with a skewer if they are done: if the skewer comes out clean, they are perfectly baked.

  5. Cooling down:
    Remove the cupcakes from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a rack.

  6. Decorate:
    Decorate the cooled cupcakes with frosting, icing, or a dollop of whipped cream. For extra flavor, you can add chocolate chips or fruit to the batter.
