Ingredients for Garlic Potato Pops:
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons cornflour (cornflour)
- Oil (to spray the balls for the air fryer)
For the garlic butter:
- 100 g butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- A handful of fresh parsley (chopped)
Preparation method:
🧄 Peel and cube 2 large potatoes and boil until soft (stick a fork into them to test), drain.
🥖 Place the cooked potatoes in a bowl and add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder and 1 teaspoon of paprika powder. Season with salt and pepper.
🧄 Mash the potatoes into a smooth puree, add 4 tablespoons of cornstarch and mix into a firm dough (add more cornstarch if necessary to achieve the desired thickness).
🥖 Roll the dough into small balls and place them in the airfryer. Spray with oil.
🧄 Airfry the balls at 200°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Shake occasionally for even cooking.
🥖 Meanwhile, make the garlic butter by melting 100g of butter in a bowl, along with 2 teaspoons of garlic powder and a handful of fresh parsley. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat in 30-second increments until the butter has melted.
🧄 Place the potato balls in a bowl, pour the melted garlic butter over them and toss well.
🥖 Serve immediately and pour the remaining garlic butter over it for extra flavor!
Enjoy it!
