Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 ml lukewarm milk
  • 1 sachet of instant yeast (7 g)
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 500 g flour

For the cinnamon sugar coating:

  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 50 g butter, melted

Preparation method

  1. Make the dough:

    • Place all the ingredients for the dough in a food processor and knead for 10 minutes until you have a smooth, elastic dough.
    • Shape into a ball, place in a lightly greased bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  2. Shape the donuts:

    • Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the risen dough into a sheet about 1.5 cm thick.
    • Cut small circles out of the dough with a cookie cutter and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
    • Cover with a tea towel and let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.
  3. Baking in the Airfryer:

    • Preheat the Airfryer to 180℃.
    • Place the donut balls in the Airfryer (make sure they don't overlap) and bake them for 6 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Coat with cinnamon sugar:

    • Mix the granulated sugar with cinnamon powder in a bowl.
    • Roll the warm donuts in the melted butter and then immediately in the cinnamon sugar.
  5. Cooling and serving:

    • Let the donuts cool completely and serve with a hot drink.
