Airfryer Cinnamon Donuts 🍩
Fancy some delicious, homemade cinnamon donuts? These soft treats are baked to a perfect golden brown in the Airfryer and coated with a sweet cinnamon sugar layer. Ideal as a snack or with coffee!
Ingredients
For the dough:
- 250 ml lukewarm milk
- 1 sachet of instant yeast (7 g)
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 50 g butter, melted
- 500 g flour
For the cinnamon sugar coating:
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 50 g butter, melted
Preparation method

Make the dough:
- Place all the ingredients for the dough in a food processor and knead for 10 minutes until you have a smooth, elastic dough.
- Shape into a ball, place in a lightly greased bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Shape the donuts:
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the risen dough into a sheet about 1.5 cm thick.
- Cut small circles out of the dough with a cookie cutter and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Cover with a tea towel and let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.

Baking in the Airfryer:
- Preheat the Airfryer to 180℃.
- Place the donut balls in the Airfryer (make sure they don't overlap) and bake them for 6 minutes until golden brown.

Coat with cinnamon sugar:
- Mix the granulated sugar with cinnamon powder in a bowl.
- Roll the warm donuts in the melted butter and then immediately in the cinnamon sugar.

Cooling and serving:
- Let the donuts cool completely and serve with a hot drink.
