Spring Rolls | From the Airfryer

Spring rolls from the Airfryer

Recipe for 6-8 spring rolls
Time: 20 min. + 8 min. in the Airfryer

Ingredients:

  • 150 g leek
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 50 g bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 6-8 sheets of filo pastry (thawed)

Preparation method:

  1. Cut the leek, pepper, onion and garlic into pieces. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until translucent.
  2. After about 2 minutes add the leek and bell pepper and fry for another 4-5 minutes. Then add the bean sprouts and ketjap manis and fry briefly. Turn off the heat.
  3. Scoop 2-3 spoonfuls of the vegetables onto a sheet of filo pastry. Roll up the pastry a bit, fold the sides inwards, and continue rolling up. Brush the last piece of pastry with water to seal the spring roll well. Repeat for the rest.

How to prepare spring rolls in the Airfryer:
Preheat the Airfryer to 200 degrees. Bake the spring rolls for about 8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Serve with a bowl of sweet chili sauce.

Tip: Add some chicken or ham pieces for an extra twist!
