Treat yourself to irresistibly fluffy donuts, baked to a perfect golden brown in the Airfryer! Decorated with a creamy vanilla glaze and cheerful sprinkles, they are ideal for any festive occasion – or just because you can!
Ingredients:
For the donuts:
- 250 ml lukewarm full-fat milk
- 1 sachet of instant yeast (7 g)
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 50 g melted butter
- 500 g flour
For the glaze:
- 100 g soft butter
- 200 g icing sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla aroma
- Optional: hot water
- Festive sprinkles
Preparation method:
-
Making dough:
Mix all the ingredients for the donuts in a food processor and knead for 10 minutes until you have a smooth, elastic dough. Form a ball, place it in a lightly greased bowl and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place. -
Forms:
Dust your work surface with some flour and roll out the dough to a sheet of about 1.5 cm thick. Cut circles out of the dough with a large cutter and make the classic donut hole with a smaller cutter. -
Rice:
Place the donuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper, cover with a tea towel and let rise for another 30 minutes. -
Baking in the Airfryer:
Preheat the Airfryer to 180°C. Brush the top of the donuts with a little sunflower oil. Fry the donuts in batches for 2.5 minutes until golden brown. -
Making glaze:
Beat the soft butter, icing sugar and vanilla essence until smooth. If necessary, add a little hot water to make the icing more fluid. -
Decorating:
Dip the tops of the donuts in the glaze and decorate with festive sprinkles. Let them set – if you can wait that long!
Enjoy this delicious treat – fresh from the Airfryer and irresistibly tasty. 🎉
